Fantastic Villa Stayed at Villa Nima from 19th June 2010 to the 3rd July 2010 with a group of five. What more can I say, Villa was fantastic and exactally how it was described on the site. I would suggest renting a car because although there are several very good restaurants and mini markets within easy walking distance, you need transport if you want to see the best sandy beaches, lovely towns and sights around the island.
We would highly recommend not only the Villa but also the area which is very central for seeing the whole

A fantastic holiday ideal for those who want to unwind and re-energise. Of all my holidays this was the most enjoyed and most comfortable. The villa is spacious and homely and very close to everything you will need. You can enjoy the local wine and food in restaurants close by or enjoy the huge kitchen at villa nima and cook for yourselves. Enjoy the food on the balcony or by the pool with amazing scenery. At night the villa and pool is lit up and looks outstanding so you can enjoy your holiday home. The island has a lot of history and a lot of beaches and places to visit and choose from but whatever your experience, it is guaranteed to be a great, very happy and memorable one.

I recently had a wonderful time in kefalonia and Villa Nima, and found this was the ideal place to getaway and relax. The accommodation was excellent, spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The villa had a relaxing atmosphere and gave stunning views across the bay, where we were able to watch beautiful sunsets in the evenings.
The villa is well situated though I feel a car would be a bonus to view the many beauty spots the island has to offer. Within walking distance to the villa are various well stocked supermarkets, Lourdata beach and resturants of which La Mer is very good.
Some of the lovely places worth visiting are Argostoli, Agia Efimia, Sami, Skala and its beach also Mytos beach. The island is so pretty you won't be disappointed, we found many small isolated, lovely beach areas along the coast to stop and enjoy, which would be ideal for a picnic.
The fishing boats in Argostoli are really something to see and you can buy their days catch direct from the boats, if you are really lucky as we were you will get to see the turtles swimming around searching for food.
We ate at some lovely places often enjoying tradition dishes, I would suggest that the restaurant Posada in the museum hotel George Molfetas in Faraklata is worth a visit, the welcome and food are excellent and there are many interesting historical items around the restaurant to view.
I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the accommodation and island to anyone.

We stayed at Villa Nima mid September and had a really wonderful holiday. The villa was as promised in the photos beautifully appointed and everything was of a high standard. The decor is very well thought out and suits the large and light rooms with stunning views from all balconies. The pool and pool area was a lovely place to sit with comfortable sun loungers and again great views.
The villa is in a good location from which to explore the island, with nice beaches nearby and a short drive to the capital which offered great views, shopping and lots of choices for eating out at night. There are small shops a short walk away owned by locals who were very friendly and there were also good places to eat nearby. Kefalonia was a lovely island with stunning scenery, friendly people and great weather. The owners were helpful and pleasant for the booking and also during the stay and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a great place to stay for a comfortable and truly relaxing holiday.

I rented this villa with friends soon after construction in May 2009 and have to say the owners' attention to detail is second to none - we all loved the place and wanted for nothing.
The villa has been built and decorated to an exceptional standard of workmanship, decor, and comfort - you will not be disappointed. The villa is situated on the edge of a small, quiet village (Vlachata) and has the most beautiful panoramic views down to the coast from the veranda, pool and garden areas.
I have travelled a fair bit and just don't understand anyone going to the Caribbean (for instance) and staying in a 5 star prison for fear of safety - Kefalonia is great - you can wander round all times of day and night without any problems - the locals love the Brits and are very friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Kida are accepted everywhere.
There really is something in Kefalonia for everyone and all ages - the owner hooked me into some lovely traditional bars and tavernas to while away the warmest of evenings with a variety of entertainment if wanted. Even the youngsters were happy. I went fishing, walking in the national parks as well as the usual tourist stuff in Argostoli etc. If you just want to relax or partake of activities you will find them all here - my guess is you will drop out and just enjoy doing that. I bet you will seriously consider going back.

I really enjoyed my week in super 'Villa Nima'. Exellent accommodation, brilliant views, lots of places to eat within easy walking distance (I recommend La Mer). A lovely village and people are so friendly.
Listing of layout, location, facilities - accurate. Property was spotlessly clean. Great customer service from owner and I would and have recommended this property to others, without reservation. Every detail has been thought through to provide a smooth, harmonious and stress free time.
I hope to visit the Island again and do a tour of the

Set on the hillside over looking the bay, to sit and watch the sun go down everynight was absolutely idylic. The view was amazing.
It is fairly isolated set in between two other villas, but we were not disturbed at all by either of this. It felt very private, and was incredibly quiet. The village was less than a five minute walk away with half a dozen or so reasonably priced good restaurants and supermarkets. The locals were all very helpful and friendly. The closest beach a five minute drive, but there are many beautiful beaches around the island well worth an explore. Myrtos beach being a must. The island is easy to get around by car.
Kefelonia is one of the prettiest
From the minute we booked, The owner was very helpful and seemed to genuinely care that the holiday went well. On the island the property manager was equally helpful dealing with a small air con problem quickly and efficiently. Thank you all for a great holiday.

Villa Nima is furnished to a high standard with everything needed for a great family holiday and it's location on the hillside with Mount Aenos towering up on one side and the olive groves and the crystal clear blue waters of the Ionian sea spread out on the other is just perfect.
The ground floor open plan layout of the villa is great, the decoration very tasteful and the air conditioning very effective. The kitchen is very well fitted out with all mod cons, although with so many good restaurants around I am afraid we didn't make best use of it. The three en suite bedrooms are all spacious, the beds were comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe space. The terrace off the two first floor bedrooms offers a great vantage point to watch the morning ferry leave for Zante or the sun go down over the ancient hilltop Crusader castle in the distance. Outside there are plenty of seating areas, ample poolside sunbeds and two giant parasols to provide welcome shade from the midday sun. When it all got too hot a dip in the pool soon cooled us down. The water was always refreshing but never cold even at 11 o clock at night.
The villa is close to a good selection of family run tavernas, all serving excellent food, and a couple of well stocked supermarkets. The nearest of these are probably less than 500 metres away but they cannot be seen or heard from the villa so they do not disturb the peace and quiet.
In general we found Vlachata a good base for exploring all over the island. The pebbly beaches at Lourdas and Trapezaki are superb and not at all crowded even in August. If you want a beach of your own hire a self drive motor boat from Lourdas or Kateleios and take your pick. Further afield Assos is beautiful and Skala and Sami are both worth a visit and of course the world famous Myrtos beach is a must see, although that's one beach that is busy. Sadly we didn't make it up to Fiskardo, apparently the prettiest town on the island, but again it is easily within reach had we had a few more days on the island.
We had a great holiday on

Great weather! Great Location! we have fallen in love with the
We enjoyed sunset evenings dining at local tavernas within easy walking distance of the villa. Aswell as visits to Lourdas beach and numerous coves and beaches dotted throughout the island. One main road navigates you around the entire island and allows you to discover its many beauty spots and places of interest. The island is unique with its clear blue
It was a delight to stay in this villa which is extremely tasteful and well designed. The interior consists of quality furnishings, spacious rooms and every appliance you could possibly wish for. We enjoyed fine cuisine, local shops, bars,
We recommend villa Nima in its entirety.
